2013年、Terence Hannumがフランス・パリにて出版したA.Y.P.SのZineになります。

「AYPS」は、アーティスト兼ミュージシャンのテレンス・ハナムによる3年間のドローイング、コラージュ、簡単なネガティブテキストを集めたものです。

「AnnoYersiniaPestisSpiritus」または「InTheYearof our Spiritual Plague」は、1990年代にブラックメタルアルバムのライナーノーツで使用された珍しいフレーズでした。ハナムは、この音楽のサブカルチャー、つまり冒涜的なものと神聖なものの間を行き来するサブカルチャー、そしてその冒涜的な影の中で、独特の神聖なものがどのように定義されているかについて、何年も振り返ってきました。

This is A.Y.P.S's Zine published by Terence Hannum in Paris, France in 2013.

"AYPS" is a collection of three years of drawings, collages and simple negative texts by artist and musician Terence Hannum.

"Anno Yersinia Pestis Spiritus" or "In The Year of our Spiritual Plague" was a rare phrase used in the liner notes of black metal albums in the 1990s. Hanam describes this musical subculture, the subculture that goes back and forth between the profane and the sacred, and how the unique sacred is defined in the profane shadow. I've been looking back for years.

Hair halos emerge from the dark crevices, the shrine of Amp builds an altar to silence, a xeroxed hair cascade interrupts the page, a brief collection of words and phrases is displayed, and strikethroughs are drawn.

The ritual is fragmented, boiled down, reconstructed and then re-worshiped.
It also includes interviews with artists by American poet, writer, and playwright Kevin Killian.
