Bonadies' photography focuses on memory, the archive, and the visibility and invisibility of cultural structures and city spaces. In summer 2012 she led the From Self-Building to Closed Communities workshop at the Summer School of the Faculty of Architecture and Town-planning of the Central University of Venezuela, together with Antoni Muntadas and Juan José Olavarría. Subsequently, in 2014, at the Research Triennial of the aforementioned Faculty of the UCV she gave a workshop called Reverse Project. In July 2015 she led the Exception Structures workshop in Barcelona, Spain, coordinated by the Idensitat platform, and in July 2016 the project culminated in an artist residency in Homesession and an exhibition by the workshop's participants. In July 2017 she gave the workshop Zona Intermedia organized by Idensitat, at Fabra i Coats, Barcelona. She has received the following awards: a MAEC-AECID Grant in 2018 for the Real Academia de España in Rome, Italy; Artist Residency Program, Goethe-Institut Salvador-Bahia/Vila Sul, Brazil, 2017; Latinoamericana Experimenta-Sur Grant 2017, Bogota, Colombia; Residency Award 2016 at 18th Street Arts Center, Santa Monica, USA, bestowed by LACMA.
